How to Provide Good Trauma Treatment with Limited Time

Sometimes our time is limited with clients.  Maybe we work at a facility or agency that only sees clients a certain amount of time or maybe there are limitations on the number of sessions that are covered by a client’s insurance.

Today’s vlog discuss a couple of things to consider when you have limited time to work with a client, but still want to provide good trauma treatment.

  1. Preparing a client for the limits of treatment.
  2. Focusing on safety and stabilization
  3. Transferring a client with the skills needed to move into trauma processing.

Being able to still do good trauma treatment is vital even when the time with a client is limited.
