The membership experience is made up of a private Facebook Group where you are able to interact directly with Nina and one another, as well as access replays of all trainings and self-care activities. You will also receive reminder emails to ensure you don't miss any of the happenings, and once a week connection in the form of training, group consults, or self-care activity.
Participate in a one-hour masterclass on a trauma-related topic. You will have the ability to ask questions and gain skills and knowledge that can be used immediately in your practice.
Participate in a curated self-care activity designed to help you explore new ways or re-engage in old ways of nurturing yourself. Some examples, might be a group mindful nature walk, guided meditation, yoga, arts and crafts, etc.
Participate in group consults where you can gain insight and feedback on cases. You will also have an opportunity to discuss self-of-the therapist issues in a safe setting.
Having the support and guidance you need can be invaluable. It is easy to get lost in the weeds and feel overwhelmed as you try to meet the needs of your caseload. Imagine having the support, confidence, and knowledge to navigate any client issue you are faced with.
I received my Master's of Science from Kansas State University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. During my time in graduate school, I fell in love with Play Therapy. I completed a Play Therapy certification program through KC Play Therapy Institute. At the beginning of my career, I worked as a Social Services Case Manager and had the honor of working with many children and families suffering from trauma and attachment challenges. This led me on a journey to learn about trauma and attachment. I completed Dr. Dan Hughes’ level one Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy training in Maine. I then went on to complete Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training, the Integrative Attachment Trauma Protocol for Children through The Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska. I recently became a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) and started certification in Dynamic Attachment Re-Patterning Experience (DARe).
I’ve been treating trauma for the past 16 years, and I have no desire to stop anytime soon!
Many are glad to have a safe place to grow their trauma treatment skills.
